J-1 BridgeUSA Program application/Visiting Scholar and Researchers

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective 09/01/2024, a J-1 Exchange Visitor Processing Fee at UTRGV will be assessed to support the services our office provides to sponsor and host J-1 exchange visitors at UTRGV and maintain compliance with the guidelines and regulations set forth by the US Department of State and its offices that govern the program. 

This will be a one-time fee of $105 USD for all new approved J-1 requests (including dependents (J2). The fee will also apply to J-1 program extensions.

Please note the processing fee can be cover by the Hosting Department or by the Exchange visitor.
